How do SHIELD products protect against electromagnetic radiation?
They have silver threads, which provide very high attenuation rates (35dB - 80dB i.e. >99%) of high frequency (wireless) electromagnetic fields at frequencies from 10 MHz to 6 GHz.

Will I lose the signal if I wrap my cell phone in a SHIELD cloth?
Wrapping your mobile phone with a SHIELD fabric can reduce the mobile network signal, but signal loss depends on the initial power density values.
Keep in mind that full signal may appear even at low power density levels (<5μW / m2).
For example, the initial radiation values of 500μW/m2 from a neighboring cellular antenna may drop to 50μW/m2 after applying a basic shielding solution, however your cell phone may still show full signal even though you had a 90% reduction of radiation values.
Even complete Faraday cages, with all the openings (doors, windows, sockets, ventilation, piping, etc.) shielded, costing tens of thousands of euros, which easily achieve attenuation rates of> 99,9% can not guarantee complete signal loss.
Should SHIELD products be grounded?
All shielding materials shield from high frequency electromagnetic fields (mobile phone antennas, etc.) regardless of whether we ground them or not, so you don’t need to ground SHIELD products.
